Hugo Emmerzael is a film and music critic based in Amsterdam.
He is an editor of monthly independent Dutch film magazine De Filmkrant and has written for Senses of Cinema, Gonzo Circus, Beneficial Shock, and Frameland.
Hugo is an alumnus of the 2019 Berlinale Talents, he sits on the board of The Circle of Dutch Film Journalists, and is a member of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI).
